There and back again

What the blip is this for?

Today was my good ladies ** birthday and I presented her with a print of a photograph I took some 35 years ago at Lyme Regis of our (then) three young daughter's on the beach at the Cobb and arranged for her to pick a Mulberry handbag of her liking.

Daughters and granddaughter arrived for breakfast after which the good lady and I went over Lyme Regis and had a lovely lunch followed by a great walk around the town on a lovely day with the sun shining, had an ice cream before returning home to a chocolate birthday cake and this evening we have been to Hugh Fearnly- Whittingstall's River Cottage canteen here in town and had a wonderful meal before staggering home in what is a lovely evening with the Church bells in the square ringing for practice night and thinking "What a lovely place to live".

As I said Lyme was looking its best today so many possible blips taken, however today's is of the very large tent that they are erecting at the top of the beach in which to hold the Fossil Festival this weekend which will only be a passing blip on the landscape until next year. The shear size deserves my blip of the day.
