Birthday baking...

The calendar on my phone proclaimed today to be my 40th birthday, but that reminder is 2 years old.

I firmly believe that everyone over 21 should have a birthday week rather than just a day, so although I was working today, I get a few more days to do nice things to celebrate.

My lovely colleagues gave me this gift of baking goodies, which I plan to use at the weekend. There was also birthday bunting and streamers on my desk and chocolate cake (which was delish and as it was huge, plenty for tomorrow too - yay!)
