a great bird

The great blue heron is really a remarkable bird. I took many, many, many photos of this one - and had a hard time choosing just one for my blip. In the end, the texture and clarity of the water behind him won me over. I put a few more favorites here, if you'd like to peek.

I would definitely view this one in all it's glory!
