Walk through Tom Royd bluebell wood

This is one short section of the Thurgoland Boundary walk, which we walked this afternoon to check out the route for hazards ahead of Mondays annual village walk event. It was wet underfoot in places but not as flooded as we thought it might be in places like Romtickle (close by the river). I think the problem will arise if a hundred or so feet walk this route on Monday and those at the back will encounter a much more muddy environment than the front runners. Fortunately there is not much more rain forecast over the next few days, but neither is there much sun which would dry it out.

Another busy day - in the morning there was Tai Chi and I managed to finish off and pack up the `Aus Here we Come' pack ready to take back into the GA.
In the evening we managed a trip to B & Q followed by a meal out in a local hostelry. We're at the stage with the house where we need to order tiles and floor covering. I guess for some people this would be the most exciting part, but there is just so much choice! We think we're almost there and we've just got to order now.

The upstairs is plastered (and the mess is!!!!) - all except for one strip on the chimney breast which we thought was painted and it turns out to be wallpaper.
