Much to Ant's annoyance I quite often work on the kitchen table.

Yesterday was such a day, we were given three days to put a cost together for some refurbishment works.

All we had to go on were some concept drawings which lacked most key features like dimensions or the specification of materials and our knowledge of the bar.

Eight solid hours crouched over the laptop, loads of phone calls, favours called in. To top it all I strongly suspect they already have someone lined up to do the job - and it's not us!
