Physics of soap bubbles
Found this bubble thing ... it was sunny outside and again, I was bored :)
Soap-bubble rainbows are caused by thin-film interference. When a light ray strikes the film of of soap bubble, some of the light reflects off of the film?s top surface ... other rays, however, pass into the film, reflect off of the bottom surface of the bubble, and passes back through the film.
When you wash your hands today, take a moment to bask in the loveliness of soap bubbles ;)
* Please ... just fore the amusement, try to blow soap bubbles with your left hand, and photograph them with the right hand ... I chased bubbles around the garden like a f?king madman :)
