Decision Time

Local elections. With the STV (single transferable vote) candidates should be listed in order of preference 1,2,3 and so on. Voters must also decide on the balance between local issues , national trends and personal preferences. STV allows me to spread my vote across parties and candidates instead of being forced into a straight jacket of political loyalty. Altogether much more grown up and adult than the "x marks the spot" simpleton method used to elect MP's to Westminster.
