my best friend and i went for a walk today, with the goal of taking pictures in mind. it felt a little awkward, because for some reason, i've always felt uncomfortable taking pictures in front of people. it seems as though they see my camera and think i'm either:
1) very important, like i'm taking photos for the school paper.
2) a huge nerd that they're baffled by.

it has gotten warmer recently, so a lot of people were out and about jogging along the river, where we were taking pictures. i'm sure that i'm over-reacting when it comes to people's opinions of me, but i can't seem to help myself.

anyway, i like this shot because of the orange and blue colors. of course, it took some time with photoshop to make the colors that way, but i still like it. although i must say this walk wasn't quite as successful photography-wise as i had hoped.

the scenery is too brown. spring hasn't quite arrived, so i'll have to go back out when everything is prettier to look at.
