Is this a hint that I'm fat?

This morning I am spending an hour with Karen a practise nurse. She is conducting reversibility tests on me and my lungs to see the kind of fettle they're in. Mainly me blowing into a meter, a lot of coughing, repeat. I have also been nebulised with salbutamol and then the process repeated. Same again tomorrow.

I was sat waiting my turn and was fascinated by the focus on the overweight in the NHS and thought it must be costing us all a fortune in poor health, death even and overall cost in financial terms. Even though I have recently lost weight and am now 'normal' for my height and age, I did think it must be challenging to sit in front of a board like this whilst waiting to see your GP.
