Huntingtower Castle...

To think I considered offering my 'out of the hat' place on Bethany's school trip to someone else. So glad I didn't as it was a brill day.

Bethany and the primary ones have a class project on the go just revolving around kings, queens, castles and all things days of yore. As part of this, the school organised a school trip up to Perth to visit Huntingtower Castle up near Perth.

In the morning we were making crowns, dressing up as princesses and knights and dancing in the banqueting hall. In the afternoon, we were dressing as servents, learning about jobbie chutes and climbing up to the castle battlements.

This is Norgbert (I think that was his name). He is a puppet dragon that, as part of the project is going home with different pupils to have stories and pictures done.

A thoroughly fantastic day bolstered along by the brilliant couple of people that look after it who really engaged with the kids and brought the place to life for them.
