Back Garden Blackbird

After yesterdays respite from the gloom and rain it was as you were where today ... it felt more like like late September out there than early May.

The garden has been busy with birds all day. There has been plenty of Greenfinches and Reed Buntings and a welcome return of a couple of Long Tailed Tits. The Starlings are still scoffing as much as I can put out there to fed them with.

Fair play it has been a pretty awesome week birding wise. The garden count is well up this week, and I haven't totted it up yet, but I am fairly sure my year list has crossed the 100 barrier for the year. Happy days!
