Cheeky Heron

Spotted this cheeky Heron in the garden today, he has a choice of 4 ponds in the surrounding gardens.

Spotted Herons in Field over the last few days, with the flooding there must be different opportunities and their normal fishing spots will now be to deep to land and fish from.

Easy to forget the impact that the rain is having on nature, we tend to just think of our delays to work and closed roads. I am guessing there will be flooded Kingfisher nests and other similar young will be killed off due to this out of season weather.
