the pretzel and the toque

After lunch I drove to the village of Cowichan Bay for coffee and a muffin. Rain fell. When I had finished my coffee, the rain had stopped. Camera in hand I visited the maritime center. The fellow there recommended that I go to the newly opened nature center, which I did. The person at the nature center told me about a heron rookery nearby, which I visited as well. On the way back to my car, I saw tourists photographing the bakery. I joined the tourists in making a similar photograph. A man wearing a toque smoked a cigarette outside Zoe's Coffee Shop.
