where are the frogs

they say every picture tells a story
well this one is
the ball is to keep a hole in the pond when we get ice
it is currently trying to flat away
the wooden strip is to help frogs get out when the water level is low
but for the first time in years, no frogs have visited the pond to ly frog spawn
