We'll Drink a Drink a Drink to Willy the Pink....

Well it was a toss up (sorry) to either title this loosly after Lilly the Pink after the Scaffold's 1968 version of an old folk song; or Little Willy after the Sweet's own glam rock classic of 1972.

I feel slightly embarresed, as this is a rather sly and voyeuristic shot of the Magners drinking aparatus (appendage?) being employed on the early morning Flybe flight from Aberdeen by a group of young girls going on a Hens weekend to Manchester. Now a 50-something Blipper like me could hardly ask a group of girls not much older than his daughter if it was OK to Blip this; but then neither dare he miss the golden opportunity either. Anyway, I figured that as their gesture was clearly meant for public consumption, and that as no faces or names were involved then surely no data protection or civil liberty offences were made. Unfortunately, in my scheming, I had forgotten to turn off the iphone photo flash, but seemed to get away with it (well Officer, it was like this....). Looks like they are on for a fun weekend if the start is anything to go by.

As the flight was boarding, one of the Hen group mistakenly sat down next to me on the flight before realising she was in the wrong seat and shifting. "It's your lucky day" she had said at first.

Well nothing materialised so far, but we live in hope. Back home in Knutsford now, and shortly to head off to Anglesey for the long bank holiday weekend - So that's three countries globetrotting in one day.
