On the left is the old A1 bridge (Great North Road) at Ferrybridge and on the right the newer A1 bridge. The newer A1 has been bypassed now by a newer A1 so its gone from one of the busiest to one of the quietest stretches of dual carrigeway around.

Took this after taking Alana to swimming and stopping to fill in a birthday card for my nephew which we dropped round on the way home. He's 17 and taller than me. They grow up fast!
