Purple Martins

I sure hope they stay...we put up this house too late for any takers last year, but were hopeful. So far this year all we've had were starlings investigating...until this pair showed up. I'm sorry it's not a good picture of them, but it's all I got...lol. We have another house up now too, and some faux-gourds ready as soon as we can get another pole for them...I want a huge family to move in, and eat up all the insects they can. I'd love to watch as they swirl and glide in the air, such a beautiful bird!
