On the way to London for the weekend. I was feeling a bit smug that we were driving in the right direction until I later learned the long jam on the other side of the road was due to a car towing a caravan overturning; I hope no one was seriously injured. It's now 6 p.m. so hopefully we should be sitting down to a curry and a glass of alcoholic refreshment by 8 pm.
