Day 11 - Cape Cod to.... home

Up early as we needed to vacate our apartment. Said our goodbyes to Celia and thanked her for a wonderful few days. The sun came out for our last day so we took the scenic route back along the Cape, stopping in Sandwich for a walk around.

As we had a few hours to spare we then stopped in Plymouth, just south of Boston, to see where America all started! Saw the famous rock and the Mayflower II. Thought it might be cheesy but it was actually all quite nice.

Finally time to end it all so drove up the Interstate to Boston, heading under the city in a tunnel and surfacing just outside the car hire drop off. It all went very smoothly and within 30 minutes of dropping it off we were checked in and through security (the usual cattle herding nonsense). Next stop London...
