A very long day

The day started at 6.10am when I arrived at the polling station. we opened at 7.00am and closed at 10pm. Oh what a long day!! But it went so quick mainly because the two ladies I was with were so nice and between us we knew loads of people coming into vote and spent the day chatting. The blip is of one of the posters after it had been retrieved from the rain first thing in the morning.

Its always a mad dash to get the ballot box and all the other paraphernalia to the Town Hall where the count was taking place. This is the best bit as everyone is on a high and its great to see so many familiar faces.

Great but long day!!
