Before enrolling in any science class in college at the university, you are required to take a safety course in which you learn how to safely handle and dispose of chemicals, how to treat chemical burns, etc. Well, one of the things they spent a lot of time going over was the chemical diamond. I thought it was pretty useless, because I was taking Astronomy and Geology and we really wouldn't be using any chemicals in there anyway. So, being the English major that I am, I completely zoned out during this part of the lecture. I noticed this sign on the cabinet where they keep the propane tanks at work (we sell them/rent them out or whatev) and i was thinking "you know, this sign would be really helpful if i actually remembered what it meant."
