Reliability Trials

Quiye amazing what you find at the top of the Rest and Be Thankful.

I had stopped off at the viewpoint on the way home this morning and was very surprised to see the area full of marshalls in high- vis jackets, head phones over their and clip boards in their hands all looking very official. I was informed that I was too late as there was only one car left to complete the course.

So this dear old lady scrambled quickly up the hill to get a decent vantage point for the last car. Just got into place , selected a spot where I reckoned the car would have to pass and waited. Sure enough this vintage car appeared exactly where I had hoped it would with the valley of Glencroe providing a suitable backdrop.

How I would love to have seen the other cars but they will be back in June, will need to check the exact date and be back on time.
