Bog Myrtle and Birch, Manesty

Just to the south of Derwentwater is a large bog area - very good for the nature workshop today, with mosses, lichens, fungi aplenty. I was tempted to put in a nature close up, but rather liked the colour of the bog myrtle in the area to the south of the woods, contrasting with the spring greens of the birch leaves.
