Fire burning.....

" a candle loses nothing by lighting another candle"

Today one of our lecturers said a really provocative racial statement that was really disturbing,and all through morning I had to put up with listening to him saying all sorts of things that can make your spiritual candle to switch off.

As this went on,I remembered that Jesus did say that we should let our lights shine....and my candle was more brightest then than ever before-simply because I refused to accept anything less than what God says I am!

Sometimes it takes the dim,dark uncomfortable times of life to reveal the power of the shining candles of our hearts-it's either we burn bright of switching off

Let's shine for Him
