Cowslips

A nice group of cowslips - Primula veris - on the old railway embankment between the two reserves. A dull day, mainly dry, with just a bit of rain this evening.

My youngest brother's 40th birthday..... He lives near Chicago so we don't see him as often as we would like.

I have not mentioned my niece Jessica for some time. She has been diagnosed with a painful condition that could be a long term issue for her. We are all quite concerned and praying for her. She is being very brave and generally coping remarkably well, with glowing reports from her school, but there is no doubt it is a real struggle every day.
