time and tide

Totally hoofed it down the cycle path this afternoon from Canonmills to Newhaven. Google maps claims it's 1.4 miles. Walk, photos and back inside 48 mins. I thought it was pretty good going.

I was down here the other week at the same time and the water was miles away. Today, I was covering the lens with my hand as each big wave came in. Lucky to get this. Even though the camera was on the wee tripod I still had the strap round my neck so it wouldn't get washed away.
