Jay

The first time ever I've seen a jay on the bird nuts. These birds are usually rather shy and prefer woodland, though it's true there are some biggish trees around my garden. This one stayed for quite a while.

May is the lovliest month of all with everything bursting into bloom and the promise of more to come. I wish it would warm up a little. I spent most of the day in the garden until I had to come in to put a dinner together for the boys. They are always ravenous when they get in from school. My 3 and a half hours of classes this evening are now over so I can relax.
