Autumn

Toni has a translation to do, so I went to the large playground nearby and while the kids enjoyed the swings, slides and sand I enjoyed the Autumnal colours.

In the evening I cycled along to the Columbia club to see one of my favourite artists: Jimmy Barnes. I've seen him three times in Glasgow, and four times in London. This was by far the easiest to get to, and it was great to see him on such good form after his open heart surgery 18 months ago. It's funny to see this former wild drinking man reformed and surrounded by his son on drums and one of his daughters on backing vocals. The evening was rounded of nicely with an opportunity to shake the man's hand and get the new CD signed.
