The traveller tradition of the ornate horse drawn caravan meets road traffic requirements. Spoils the effect I feel! Have never noticed the chevron until today as I passed on the tractor. The community will soon all be heading off to Appleby to attend the week long horse fair, so if you are travelling north over the next few weeks you may have plenty of time to check out the back of one of these!
