midwife crisis

By lulubelle

Galloped around the ward at full pelt all day, whilst also trying to juggling the multitude of other responsibilities that are on my job spec! The only really important part (a collapsed baby) got my full attention, the rest was a token gesture. The fiscal problems of this country and the Health Service are not easy companions.

Rushed home to Hubs cooking our 4th wedding anniversary dinner. He got tops marks (again) for food, flowers, card, ultimate romantic gestures and having the house spotless. Yola was in full Chocolate cake production, which really was the icing on the cake, as it was low carb and sugar free (which meant I could eat lots of it)!
We took a trip down memory lane with wedding photo's, music and dresses. Lots of laughing, ooohing and hugging. They're the best.

I stopped by the Derryconnell bog as the clouds were doing interesting wafty things around Mt Gabriel, the light was fading and it was difficult for the camera to pick up the colours. I wanted to get home, so it was just a very quick blip.
