Busy day on the Hudson

Looked out the window this morning and was surprised to see so much activity on the river. Fall seems to have arrived with the weather getting distinctly cooler the past couple of days.

Busy day today. Usual early morning trip to the local farmers market, then went with a friend to a book signing by Haruki Murakami which was part of the New Yorker magazine festival, on to another friends for a late afternoon get together on their roof terrace while it is still warm enough to stay outside.

Ended the day home with hubby, chinese takeaway and a film.
