Portraits On The Beach

I was asked to photograph an ex colleagues kids and his nieces today. I was a little perplexed enroute when a few flakes of snow fell on the windscreen, however the sun won through and instead we were treated to a pleasant day on the beach.

Its always hard keeping kids focused, but the addition of a little competition often wins the day. This was just a little fun for them and I deliberately overexposed this shot fairly heavily to get this bleached out effect. Not everyones cup of tea I don't suppose but I quite like this contemporary look.
