Wounded Knee

Up early and took Juno out over the hill, it was a lovely morning and the hill was quiet.

The girls had a game today away from home. We lost, one girl off with a head knock early in first half and then eco daughter took a bad one on the knee, The girl did not mean it and was really upset with the outcome. I got a real fright, eco daughter normally gets straight back up, not this time, she was screaming. It was not a dirty game just these things happen.

She lay for a while and I carried her off, kept her warm and iced the knee before the game finished and we headed to hospital. No bone damage just a badly bruised and swollen knee. Phew.

She has a tuba grip and crutches.

I did some gardening to take my mind off everything.

She is away out to meet some of her teammates to watch the Voice.

This is her knee while we awaited x ray, clearly showing the stud marks, it is the same knee she has the bone growth on which caused my worry.
