Alkmaar - cheesemarket

During the final day of this short holiday, we visited Alkmaar.
Today is Friday, meaning the traditional cheesemarket takes place in Alkmaar. That's a 400-years old chees-market located on the Waagplein (weighing square)

Instead of the 'usual photo' of the cheesecarriers running around the square, I picked one, showing a real Dutch way of transporting cheese.

After having lunch (with cheese...) in Alkmaar, it was back to reality, back to home.
