Auricula Theatre

Calke Abbey were hosting a craft fair today, and whilst visiting we paid a visit to the gardens and later indulged in a barbecued beefburger.

Calke Abbey has a preserved victorian Auricula Theatre in the gardens, which, at this time of year, makes a visit worthwhile. Later in the year the auriculas are replaced with pelargoniums.
