Hockneys Inspiration
These trees are in Woldgate, Bridlington and they're from the area used by David Hockney in his latest exhibition. He could often be spotted working up here.
Following the popularity of his work, his exhibition and the fact that he is perceived abd Britains greatest living artist, this area has now become much more popular tourists and walkers.
The good news for we locals is that the area is now kept trash free too. Sadly, there's alot of fly tipping goes on in these woods.
They are lovely lanes to travel by car or foot though, and if in the area I would recommend a journey up here.
It's been a lovely sunny day so I managed to get a spot of gardening done when I came back. Very enjoyabe day!
