On the beach - not oysters again!
Back at Achnahaird - we had a late breakfast and spent a pleasant hour or so down on the beach watching the sea birds at the water's edge. It was particularly interesting watching the Oystercatchers, digging in the sand. I'm sure they don't find oysters but they have quite a few squabbles with the gulls over whatever they do find.
There was a single Ring Plover but he was quite well camouflaged against the sand.
I liked this particularly for the 'stripey' effect the tide has had on the sand.
(Thought this would be a change from all the blue sky ans sea shots!)
