Cheerful Chesters.
No, its not a mispelling. Today wee wife and I had a lovely time. After she came out of hospital a year ago she had to attend physiotherapy for 16 weeks and on completeing her pulmonary physio course she was advised to join a group called Cheerful Chesters. These happy folk are a bunch of "Wrinklies" all of whom have breathing problems and attend on a Monday morning each week for a quite streuous workout under the care and control of Minty Duncan. The exercise seems to be benificial but even moreso is the social aspect of the group. They have coffee mornings, bus trips, cruises on Loch Ness and much more throughout the year. Today we were celebrating 10 years since the group started and all attended at a picturesque hotel on the outskirts of Inverness where we had a first class meal and an afternoon of music, song and dance. A very pleasant 5 hours which will be followed on Monday by coffe at a local garden centre. Who says that people with medical problems can't enjoy themselves. The shot shows a small part of the gathering - I had the wrong lens with me and could'nt get them all in.
