Bolton Bridge

Today I decided to go for a short ride on my bike, after being out on the motorbike most of the afternoon. Always two wheels, with or without engine! Not the best day for photographs as the sun was reluctant to shine, and I was getting hungry and didn't want to hang around waiting for it, so I took this photo of the old bridge which used to take all the traffic of the A59. Some years ago I remember a coal lorry was involved in a accident on the bridge and a considerable amount of coal ended up in the river!
