WWII target practice site

This is the centre ring of the WWII, air target practice in the New Forest. From the air you can see the rings clearly, and some craters are still here on the ground, although are now serving as watering holes for the wildlife.

From the picture it's difficult to imagine the scale but it is truely enormous.
