The Butterfly Army suffers a deserter!

Weird Day. It's the Arts Festival this weekend, so all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff going on. The girls called into the cheese shop and got told about the "Butterfly Parade" around the corner. One hour and much cutting later, we had Princess ready to help chase the scary inflatable dragonflies away...

Also finished up with a balloon portrait of Monkey Boy courtesy of old acquaintance Mr Balloonatic. Amazing to finally see what the guy can do with two balloons and a marker, and plenty of time to catch up as he worked.

Then listening to the radio in the car with an Irish language arts show on, discussing new Irish language book "An Hobad", published by Michael Everson who taught me more than any sane person should know about typography, the workings of the Macintosh and the letter thorn!
