proper tired

Had an amazing full day out mountain biking up Llandegla Forest today with dirtmonkey and chums, taking in the red route, the black route, the black route again, and again, before a lungbusting break for home.

It's not very technical but is very fast and flowing, so makes for a knackering trail. The new black route sections are really good fun too - although to be fair a lot of time was spent munching energy bars and larking about. Well we are boys, afterall.

Took this pic towards the end, just after storming ahead full pelt after the raised logwork. I had to crank up the gears so I could get enough headstart to get off my bike, lay down and try to compose the shot before the guys appeared off the berm round the corner.

And trust me, that climb is a helluva lot steeper when you're actually there.
