Korimako in Manuka

This afternoon Kiwilizzie called in for a cuppa, and in the course of the chat we decided to go up to Lake Rotoiti for a drive. The bellbirds (korimako) were out in force and we could hear them all over the place. We could even see their movements, but because of their colouring they are really hard to see in trees.

Fortunately for me this guy chose to hang about in the branches of the manuka trees so I was able to spot him.
