Bridge to Nowhere

While out on an errand and totally on a whim I detoured to stop by this old bridge. For the first 15 years that I lived in this county I regularly traversed this span, three or four times weekly.

Closed to traffic long ago, with access blocked from the north side, I speculate that in a few short years this thing will exist only in the memories of a few old fogies and their photos.
