The Kid

My son turned 7 just this week, and to say he's seven going on seventeen is a bit of an understatement to say the least!

He is, of course, excited about the forthcoming addition to our family, and becoming the 'big' brother - but as he has been the centre of our attention for the past few years, gaining that accolade of 'one child' syndrome, I can't help but worry how it's all going to go.

I wouldn't know what it's like to have a sibling myself, being an only child, but I can imagine it's a lovely feeling (in years to come) to have someone who you bond with infinitely.

On another note, many thanks to those who have given me such a warm welcome to Blipfoto with your lovely comments to my first post. I will, hopefully in the near future upgrade and return favours with comments, faves and everything else a full member gets to do on here!
