International day of the midwife.

It wasa a lovely day in town yesterday. These ladies were from the faculty of midwifery at UCLAN. The beautiful produce they were selling and more importantly, the cash they raise through their charitable work, goes toward funding training for midwives in Africa. What a pragmatic and considerate thing to do. Women (and of course now men) helping other women. Bravo to you.
