A man's work is never done.
While having a day out, just going where we wanted, we came across the Lancs railway line Bury to Rawtenstall. They were having a Thomas the Tank Engine Steam day. We stopped and had a little time there.
This was taken as the engine driver was decoupling the engine to shunt it to the other end of the carriages. Not a job I would have liked between those two vehicles.
