2012 Hours to Go!

Despite nursing a cold each, together with the girls we dragged ourselves out last night to the Olympic Stadium for its official opening. The event was timed to mark 2012 hours to go to the start of the games.

It was a great evening. It began with some concluding events from the BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) Athletics Championship before a bunch of celebs from sport, music and entertainment took over for a few fun sports events. Although it was a chilly evening, we all had a great time and the stadium and park looked great.
