"Super Moon"

Or to give it its scientific name : "Perigee Moon". Apparently this is when the moon is closest to the earth. Last time this happened was in March last year. Because it is a lot closer than usual, it appears larger & brighter! Here endeth today's science lesson :-)

Took this in the early hours of this morning. Not at the peak time which was 4.30am ish! I was fast asleep in bed by then, there is a limit to what I do & staying up quite that late goes above & beyond nowadays.

Quick visit to blip today as shortly going to youngest son's. He is cooking tonight's meal for us. So no cooking or washing up for me, yipeeee!!!!
