Taking some photos at a gig
I went to practise using my camera in a pretty difficult light at a gig at a local bar. Well the photos pretty much failed miserably. I haven't posted in quite some time, since I still feel crappy about failing at this and haven't felt like taking photos for some time now. I took loads of great gig shots before with my shittier camera and don't know how I could have failed like this.
There were loads that were in focus but just plain and boring. I forgot to set the image size back to normal after my previous shoot and and photosize was too low and I wasn't able to crop them down a lot as I usually do, since I don't own a zoom or telephoto lens :( Well that obviously wasn't the only problem. I used too high of an ISO and that really showed in the photos. They looked alright when I checked them out on the camera screen, but on my laptop they were just horrendous. This one I liked just because of the lens flares and lights.
Anyway, I just wanted to show you that my shooting was really off that day. Well this is how I learn I guess. At least I know what I did wrong this time and I bet i'm not gonna make the same mistakes again (I hope...).
